# Vercel Blob CLI is now available

By Steven Van · 2025-06-24

The Vercel CLI (v43.3.0) adds blob commands for managing stores and files, including an image-optimizing put-image command.

The [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) CLI (version 43.3.0) now includes Blob commands for managing Vercel Blob storage from the terminal. In a linked project with a connected Blob store, the CLI authenticates using OIDC by default; otherwise it falls back to a BLOB\_READ\_WRITE\_TOKEN or a --rw-token option.

- list, put, get, del, and copy handle everyday file operations on public and private stores.

- put-image runs a local file or public URL through Image Optimization and stores only the optimized output, with required --width and optional --quality and --format options.

- create-store, delete-store, get-store, list-stores, and empty-store manage Blob stores themselves.

Full details are in the [Vercel Blob CLI documentation](<https://vercel.com/docs/cli/blob>).
