# v0 Platform API now in beta

By Steven Van · 2025-07-09

Vercel's new beta API gives developers programmatic access to v0's code generation, parsing, error fixing, and chat/project management.

The [v0 Platform API](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) is now in public beta, giving developers programmatic access to v0's app generation pipeline. It handles generating code for web apps from prompts, structured parsing of that generated code, automatic error fixing, and a link with a rendered preview.

The API also supports programmatic control of v0.dev itself, including creating and managing chats and projects. Vercel says more of v0.dev's functionality will move into the Platform API over time. It's built for integration into development workflows, automation scripts, and third-party tools, with a TypeScript SDK and [documentation](<https://v0.dev/docs/v0-platform-api>) available to get started.
