# The skills.sh API is now available

Vercel projects can now query skills.sh's 600,000+ open-source skills using a short-lived, auto-rotated OIDC token.

The [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) changelog announces that the skills.sh API is now available, letting developers query more than 600,000 skills from across the open-source ecosystem directly from a Vercel project. Authentication uses the project's Vercel OIDC token: Vercel issues a short-lived token scoped to the team and project, rotated automatically, so there's no long-lived secret to leak or rotate.

- Check a skill's security audit

- Rate limit of 600 requests per minute per team and project
