# Support for TanStack Start

By Steven Van · 2025-11-10

Vercel auto-detects TanStack Start apps and runs them on Fluid compute with Active CPU pricing by default.

Vercel now detects TanStack Start applications and deploys them automatically. Existing TanStack Start projects can add support by installing Nitro and adding nitro() to the plugins list in vite.config.ts, alongside the existing tanstackStart() and viteReact() plugins.

TanStack Start apps on [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) use Fluid compute with Active CPU pricing by default, so functions scale up and down with traffic and billing applies only to active use rather than idle time. Full details are in the [TanStack Start on Vercel documentation](<https://vercel.com/docs/frameworks/full-stack/tanstack-start>).
