# Rethinking prototyping, requirements, and project delivery at Code and Theory

By Steven Van · 2025-08-20

Creative agency Code and Theory says switching to v0 cut prototyping time 75% and quadrupled delivery speed on client and internal projects.

Code and Theory, a creative technology agency that builds systems for clients including Microsoft, Amazon and NBC, has shifted much of its prototyping and requirements work onto [v0](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>). Teams now go straight from prompt to code instead of producing strategy documents, wireframes and static mockups, using v0 to:

- Replace requirement documents with working interfaces

- Visualize features for internal and client reviews

- Rapidly expand on ideas through live iteration

According to a [customer story](<https://vercel.com/blog/rethinking-prototyping-requirements-and-project-delivery-at-code-and-theory>) published by Vercel, the change cut Code and Theory's time-to-prototype by **75%** and increased delivery speed **4x**. The agency's CTO, David DiCamillo, said development timelines that used to run 2-12 months are now coming down by 50-75%.

Designers, strategists and engineers all use the same v0 interface, with no technical ramp-up or handoff between disciplines. Generated apps are versioned through GitHub, tested with the agency's existing QA stack, and deployed through Vercel.
