# Redesigned trace viewer for Vercel Workflows

Search spans, zoom the timeline, and inspect step inputs and outputs, now also available locally with npx workflow@beta web.

The trace viewer for [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) Workflows and the Workflow SDK has been [redesigned](<https://vercel.com/docs/workflows>) to make it easier to inspect a run from start to finish. It adds search across spans, zooming into any section of the timeline, and keyboard navigation, and clicking into a step now shows its inputs, outputs, and run metadata.

The same viewer is now available locally through the Workflow SDK, via *npx workflow@beta web*, for inspecting runs during development.
