# Pricing for on-demand concurrent builds reduced by over 50%

By Steven Van · 2025-04-25

Pro and Enterprise teams pay less for queue-skipping builds, and usage is now billed per minute instead of in 10-minute blocks.

On-demand concurrent builds on [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) now cost more than 50% less. Usage increments are also smaller, dropping from 10 minutes to 1 minute, according to the [changelog entry](<https://vercel.com/changelog/pricing-for-on-demand-concurrent-builds-reduced-by-over-50-percent>).

On-demand concurrent builds let deployments bypass build queues. They are available to **Pro** and **Enterprise** customers, and they complement existing build slots. Vercel's recommendation is:

- Use on-demand for bursty workloads or priority deploys.

- Use slots for large, frequent builds with predictable volume.

The reduction also applies to everyone using Enhanced On-demand builds, which allocate more memory to build compute for faster deployment times.
