# Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image) now available in the AI Gateway

Google's Gemini 3 Pro Image model is now available through Vercel's AI Gateway without a separate provider account.

Vercel's [AI Gateway](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) now supports Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image) with no separate Google provider account required. The model is aimed at more advanced use cases than the original Nano Banana, adding diagrams with accurate labeling, integration of web search information for images with up-to-date details, higher resolution output, and higher multi-image input limits for compositing.

To use it with the AI SDK, developers set the model to **google/gemini-3-pro-image**. Since it's a multi-modal model, image generation runs through **generateText** rather than a dedicated image-generation call.
