# Muse Spark Open now available on AI Gateway By Steven Van · 2026-10-15 Meta's open-weight coding model offers a 1M-token context and image input, and it needs no separate provider account or markup on pricing. Meta's open-weight reasoning model Muse Spark Open is now available on [Vercel]()'s AI Gateway, as described in the [release note](). It is aimed at coding and agentic workflows, including multi-file refactoring, debugging, and understanding large codebases. ## Model capabilities Muse Spark Open takes text and image input and has a 1M-token context window, so an agent can work with code and screenshots in the same request. It is available with ZDR (Zero Data Retention) and no training, and it does not require separate provider accounts. ## Using it The model name is meta/muse-spark-open across all API formats and coding agents. It works through: - the AI SDK - the OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions and Responses APIs - the Anthropic-compatible Messages API - coding agents connected to AI Gateway To use it in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents, install the latest Vercel CLI (pnpm i -g vercel@latest) and run vercel ai-gateway coding-agents setup. Then select meta/muse-spark-open in the agent. The model can also be tried in the model playground. ## Pricing and billing AI Gateway reflects provider pricing with no markup and charges no platform fee on inference, including on Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) requests.
