# Muse Spark 1.2 is now available on Vercel AI Gateway

Muse Spark 1.2 from Meta is now available on AI Gateway. It is a coding-focused update to the previous Muse Spark model.

[Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>)'s AI Gateway now offers **Muse Spark 1.2**, a [coding-focused update](<https://vercel.com/changelog/muse-spark-1-2-is-now-available-on-vercel-ai-gateway>) to Meta's Muse Spark model. It keeps the model's general capabilities while improving code generation, complex debugging, codebase understanding, and end-to-end developer workflows, aimed at long-horizon work such as generating whole repositories and sustaining iterative loops that write, compile, profile, and improve code over many rounds.

- Set the model to **meta/muse-spark-1.2** in the AI SDK to use it directly.

- Run **vercel ai-gateway coding-agents setup** to connect Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, or Pi, then select meta/muse-spark-1.2 inside the agent.
