# Moonshot AI's Kimi K2 model is now supported in Vercel AI Gateway

Vercel's AI Gateway adds Moonshot AI's Kimi K2 model, routing requests across Groq, DeepInfra, Fireworks AI, and Parasail for failover.

[Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>)'s [AI Gateway](<https://vercel.com/docs/ai-gateway>) now supports Kimi K2, a mixture-of-experts language model from Moonshot AI, without requiring a separate Moonshot account. Developers can switch to it with a single string change, setting the model to **moonshotai/kimi-k2** in the AI SDK v5.

The gateway routes Kimi K2 requests across multiple providers, including Moonshot AI directly, Groq, DeepInfra, Fireworks AI, and Parasail, with automatic retries and failover aimed at higher than provider-average uptime. It also includes built-in observability and Bring Your Own Key support.
