# Middleware insights now available in Vercel Observability

By Steven Van · 2025-05-23

Middleware gets its own Observability view, with request-path and rewrite-target breakdowns for Observability Plus teams.

The [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) Observability dashboard now includes a dedicated view for middleware, showing invocation counts and performance metrics for every project.

Teams on **Observability Plus** get additional tooling on top of that view:

- Analyze invocations by request path, matched against your middleware config

- Break down middleware actions by type, such as redirect or rewrite

- View rewrite targets and how often they're hit

- Query middleware invocations using the query builder

The [update](<https://vercel.com/changelog/middleware-insights-now-available-in-vercel-observability>) is live in the Observability dashboard now.
