# Microfrontends previews now link across repositories

By Steven Van · 2026-08-21

Microfrontends can now link Preview Deployments across repositories when their Git branch names match exactly.

Vercel now links Preview Deployments for [Microfrontends](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) across separate repositories, not just within a monorepo. When Git branch names match exactly on both projects, Vercel matches them and links their previews: previewing a new-checkout branch on one project will pull in the new-checkout preview of other projects in the same Microfrontends group, where available.

The feature is enabled by default for new Microfrontends groups and can be managed in Microfrontends settings. [Read the announcement](<https://vercel.com/changelog/microfrontends-previews-now-link-across-repositories>).
