# LongCat-Flash Chat model is now supported in Vercel AI Gateway

Meituan's agentic tool-use model is live on AI Gateway with no extra provider account, switchable via one model-string update in AI SDK v5.

Vercel's [AI Gateway](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) now supports [LongCat Flash Chat](<https://vercel.com/changelog/longcat-flash-chat-model-is-now-supported-in-vercel-ai-gateway>), a new model from Meituan built for agentic tool use, with no separate provider account required. The model dynamically activates parameters based on contextual demand, and developers using the AI SDK v5 can switch to it with a single string update by setting the model to **meituan/longcat-flash-chat**. As with other Gateway models, it comes with usage and cost tracking, retries and failover, and Bring Your Own Key support.
