# Introducing Token Pass

Early access is open to Pro teams at $30 a month, with $80 of shared credit for GLM 5.3 and Kimi K3 and zero data retention by default.

Pro teams can now join early access to [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) Token Pass, a **$30 per month** subscription that gives a team **$80** of monthly credit for open-weight models through AI Gateway. The credit covers GLM 5.3 and Kimi K3, with more models to come, as [described in the Token Pass documentation](<https://vercel.com/docs/ai-gateway/token-pass>).

## How it works

Token Pass runs through AI Gateway, so the credit can be used in a coding agent of your choice. The announcement names fx, Command Code and Pi, and says teams can also build a personal agent with the AI SDK. The credit is shared across the team, and teams can switch between the included models.

- Open the Token Pass page in the team's AI Gateway dashboard.

- Activate the subscription, create a Token Pass API key, and follow the setup instructions to connect an agent.

- Select GLM 5.3 or Kimi K3.

The Token Pass API key only works with the featured models. Other models need a regular AI Gateway API key, which bills AI Gateway credits instead.

## Credit and billing

The subscription renews monthly unless canceled, and unused credit does not roll over. When the credit runs out, Token Pass requests stop until the next billing period. There are no automatic overage charges. Teams that want to keep going have to switch to a regular AI Gateway API key.

## Data handling

Zero Data Retention is on by default. Requests run through selected providers with inference in the US and EU. AI Gateway and the provider delete prompts and responses after each request, and prompts are not used to train models.

## Availability

Token Pass is for Pro teams. Hobby and Pro trial teams need to upgrade to a paid Pro plan first, and Enterprise teams cannot subscribe. Team owners and members with permission to manage billing can subscribe and cancel. Early access has a limited number of spots, and when they are full the Token Pass tab shows a waitlist. Vercel may change the featured models and providers.
