# HIPAA BAAs are now available to Pro teams

By Steven Van · 2025-09-09

Pro teams can now self-serve a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement from the dashboard, without moving to an Enterprise plan.

**Pro** teams can now sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) to support HIPAA-compliant workloads, without an Enterprise contract. The BAA is available self-serve through the dashboard as a paid add-on: teams agree to the terms of Vercel's Business Associate Agreement directly.

Vercel acts as a business associate under HIPAA, applying technical and organisational safeguards, running annual audits, and providing breach notification. Compliance remains a shared responsibility: teams must still configure security features, manage access, and validate third-party services on their end. Redlines to the standard BAA still require an Enterprise plan.
