# gpt-oss-20b and gpt-oss-120b are now supported in Vercel AI Gateway

Vercel's AI Gateway now routes OpenAI's gpt-oss-20b and gpt-oss-120b through Groq, Baseten, Cerebras, and Hugging Face with automatic retries.

OpenAI's open-weight **gpt-oss-20b** and **gpt-oss-120b** reasoning models are now available through [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>)'s AI Gateway, with no separate OpenAI account needed. Switching to either model with the AI SDK v5 is a one-line change: set the model string to openai/gpt-oss-20b or openai/gpt-oss-120b.

The Gateway adds usage and cost tracking, retries, and failover aimed at higher than provider-average uptime, plus built-in observability and bring-your-own-key support. Behind the scenes it routes gpt-oss requests across multiple providers, including Groq, Baseten, Cerebras, and Hugging Face.
