# GPT 5.2 models now available on Vercel AI Gateway

Vercel's AI Gateway adds three GPT-5.2 models, OpenAI's upgrade over GPT-5.1 for coding and long-context work.

[Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>)'s AI Gateway now supports OpenAI's GPT-5.2 model series, giving access without a separate OpenAI account. Vercel notes improvements over GPT-5.1 in professional knowledge work, coding, and long-context reasoning, along with fewer hallucinations, more accurate vision for reading graphs and visualizations, stronger complex front-end work, and better retention across long documents.

Three GPT-5.2 models are available through the [AI Gateway](<https://vercel.com/docs/ai-gateway>):

- **GPT-5.2 Chat** (openai/gpt-5.2-chat): the model used in ChatGPT, for everyday work and learning

- **GPT-5.2** (openai/gpt-5.2): for deeper work and complex coding or long-document tasks

- **GPT-5.2 Pro** (openai/gpt-5.2-pro): for the most difficult questions requiring heavy reasoning

Each model can be called from the AI SDK by setting the model to its slug.
