# Gemini 3.5 Flash on AI Gateway

Gemini 3.5 Flash joins Vercel's AI Gateway with better coding and reasoning, defaulting to a medium thinking level for faster, cheaper output.

Google's Gemini 3.5 Flash is now available on [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>)'s [AI Gateway](<https://vercel.com/ai-gateway/leaderboards>). Vercel says the model brings improved coding proficiency and parallel agentic execution loops compared with previous Flash versions, along with gains in core reasoning, instruction following, and multi-turn coherence, and higher-quality reasoning traces in thinking mode.

Gemini 3.5 Flash defaults to a medium thinking level, balancing response quality against faster, more cost-efficient generation. To use it, set the model to **google/gemini-3.5-flash** in the AI SDK. Temperature, topP, topK, and thinking\_budget are not supported.
