# Function invocations now billed per unit

By Steven Van · 2026-05-29

Pro accounts move to $0.0000006 per invocation, replacing the $0.60-per-million rate, starting next billing cycle.

Vercel is switching function invocation billing from package-based to per-unit pricing for Pro and new Enterprise customers on [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) Functions. Existing customers keep their current effective rate until the end of their present billing cycle, then move to per-unit billing starting with the next cycle.

The new Pro rate is **$0.0000006 per invocation**, replacing the previous $0.60 per 1M invocations. Vercel says per-unit billing scales more smoothly across team sizes and usage patterns, and helps Pro teams use function invocations without immediately consuming a large share of their included monthly usage credit.
