# Faster deploy times for large builds

By Steven Van · 2025-02-06

Builds with 100+ Vercel Functions finish more than 50 seconds sooner, and the average build saves 410ms.

Vercel cut the time of the deploy step in its build process. Builds are faster by **2.8 seconds at P99**, 760ms at P75 and 410ms on average, according to the [changelog entry](<https://vercel.com/changelog/faster-deploy-times-for-large-builds>).

The gain is larger for projects with many Functions. Customers with 100 or more [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) Functions see builds more than **50 seconds** faster, and several have saved over **2 minutes**.
