# Elysia can now be automatically deployed on Vercel

By Steven Van · 2025-11-17

Vercel now auto-detects Elysia backends and deploys them with zero config, defaulting to Node with optional Bun support.

Elysia apps can now be deployed to [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) with zero configuration. Vercel automatically detects an Elysia app and provisions resources for it, running it as a Vercel Function on Fluid compute with Active CPU pricing, so billing only applies while code is actively using CPU.

Elysia runs on Node by default. To use the Bun runtime instead, add a bunVersion line to vercel.json. Full setup and deployment steps are in the [Elysia on Vercel documentation](<https://vercel.com/docs/frameworks/backend/elysia>).
