# Drives for Vercel Sandbox in Private Beta By Steven Van · 2026-06-05 Vercel Sandbox drives keep agent workspaces, repos and build output alive across disposable sandbox runs, free during the Pro and Enterprise beta. Vercel Sandbox now supports [Vercel]() Drives in private beta: persistent storage that can be mounted into a sandbox and kept independent of that sandbox's lifecycle. A drive is created once, then mounted at a configurable path when a sandbox starts; when the sandbox stops, the drive stays available to attach to a later run, so cloned repositories, dependencies, build outputs, or an agent's workspace do not have to be rebuilt each time. - A sandbox can mount up to 4 drives, each defaulting to 1 TiB, with a 16 TiB maximum quota (Vercel Support can raise this further on request). - Drives can be mounted read-write or read-only, but during the beta a drive can only be mounted read-write by one sandbox at a time; support for multiple readers is coming. - Available to Enterprise and Pro plans by [signing up for the waitlist](), using the beta SDK or CLI.
