# Create custom WAF rules directly from the Vercel Firewall tab

Vercel's Firewall chart can now turn any traffic series into a draft WAF rule, on all plans at no extra cost.

Custom WAF rules can now be created straight from the traffic chart on the Firewall tab of the [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) dashboard. When traffic is grouped by a parameter such as IP address, user agent or request path, the actions menu on any time series has a "Create Custom Rule" option.

Selecting it generates an editable draft of a custom WAF rule that matches that parameter. Once the rule is saved and published, it is [propagated immediately across Vercel's global network](<https://vercel.com/docs/vercel-firewall>).

The feature is available on **all plans** at no additional cost.
