# Claimed deployments now include third-party resources

By Steven Van · 2025-09-23

Prisma is the first Vercel Marketplace provider whose database transfers automatically when a user claims the deployment it's attached to.

[Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) now transfers third-party resources, not just the deployment itself, when someone claims a project that was created on their behalf. Any third party can use the Vercel API to create a project, deploy an app, and attach a resource store such as a database; when the user claims the deployment, the resource automatically moves with it and full ownership passes to their account.

Prisma is the first Vercel Marketplace provider to support this [instant deployment](<https://vercel.com/docs/deployments/claim-deployments>)
