# Chat SDK now supports Vercel Connect

New adapter helpers for Slack, GitHub and Linear bots fetch short-lived tokens automatically, so there's no bot token or signing secret to manage.

[Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>)'s Chat SDK now integrates with Vercel Connect to manage credentials for Slack, GitHub, and Linear bots, so there is no bot token or signing secret to store or rotate. A new @vercel/connect/chat subpath adds adapter helpers for each platform: pass a connector UID and spread the result into the matching adapter factory, for example connectSlackAdapter into createSlackAdapter.

- Outbound calls use a function-form token field backed by getToken, so each request gets a fresh, short-lived token that Connect rotates automatically.

- Inbound webhook events are checked with a webhookVerifier that validates the Vercel OIDC token Connect attaches to forwarded events, replacing the need for a signing secret.
