# Agents can now enable Web Analytics and Observability Plus with Vercel CLI

By Steven Van · 2026-10-28

Vercel CLI 64.2.0 drops the interactive-terminal requirement, though Observability Plus still needs an existing team subscription.

Agents can now enable Web Analytics and Observability Plus from the command line without a person at the terminal. [Vercel](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/vercel>) CLI no longer requires an interactive terminal for either action, so an agent can turn them on for a project without asking the user to run the commands. The change is covered in the [Vercel CLI project documentation](<https://vercel.com/docs/cli/project>).

## Commands

Both commands run from a linked project directory:

- vercel project web-analytics enable

- vercel project observability enable

## Requirements

Teams must already be subscribed to Observability Plus before they can enable it for a project. The change needs Vercel CLI version **64.2.0** or later.
