# Whisper models in Superwhisper are free without Pro

By Steven Van · 2026-10-31

The October 31 reminder covers local Whisper models for everyone, though it does not include cloud models or other Pro tools.

[Superwhisper](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/superwhisper>) reminded people on October 31, 2026 that its Whisper models are free. No Pro subscription is required. Download the app, pick a Whisper model, and start talking. The post calls the result local, private, and fast voice-to-text, free for everyone.

Official Superwhisper announcement image.

The image on the post reads "Every Whisper model, now free for everyone." The homepage still describes a free tier and a Pro trial of 3,000 words, after which free-tier features remain. This note does not say cloud models, meetings, or other Pro tools are included. The [October 30 iOS update](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/blog/superwhisper-3-ios>) is a separate release, and that announcement named no plan.
