# Faster microphone start when beginning recording across all input devices

Version 2.19.0 adds a Muffle option for other apps' audio and makes Lower playback scale to 30% of your current volume.

[SuperWhisper](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/superwhisper>) 2.19.0 starts the microphone faster when a recording begins, across all input devices. The release is listed in the [vendor's changelog](<https://superwhisper.com/changelog>) for macOS, Windows and iOS.

- A new **Muffle** sound option applies a low-pass filter to other apps' audio while you record.

- Lower playback now drops audio to 30% of your current volume instead of a fixed level, so it scales with how loud you're listening.

The update also includes several fixes:

- The "Always Close" option now works when paste detection fails.

- License details update in the UI after unlinking a personal license.

- Trial progress bars and trial cards display correctly in the sidebar and License view.

- Text no longer flickers while typing in the agent composer or sending messages in agent chat.

- Clipboard restore issues with "Keep what I have copied" are fixed.

- The reprocess button no longer selects a mode on a plain click.
