# Introducing v6

[Suno](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/suno>) has released a new generation of music models: v6, v6-wild, and v6-mini. v6 is the flagship model, aimed at reliable, precise, polished output across genres. v6-wild trades that consistency for more unpredictable, textured and ambitious results, while v6-mini is a faster, more efficient version built for turning an idea into a song quickly.

The v6 family adds several new editing and creation workflows:

- Edit part of an existing song using plain language, changing one section while leaving the rest intact

- Build a mashup from multiple songs in one request, combining vocals, drums and other elements with new instructions

- Sample and isolate a section of a track, then build a new beat around it in a single workflow

- Create a song from a vibe, genre or mix of reference inspirations

- Create starting from text, audio, images or video

- Update a single lyric or line without rebuilding the rest of the song
