# Skullet draws skeleton states from your components

By Steven Van · 2026-10-31

Skullet measures a component and draws its skeleton, though the site does not list a price and the package is MIT licensed.

Lochie Axon posted [Skullet](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/skullet>) on October 31, 2026. Wrap a component in Skeleton and the library measures it, then draws a skeleton in that shape, so the layout does not jump when the content arrives. The homepage install line is npm i skullet.

Version 0.0.3 covers React, Vue, Svelte, and vanilla JavaScript. The repository is MIT licensed, copyright 2025 Lochie Axon, and the site does not list a paid plan. While data is null, the component renders a sample unseen and that shape is what gets traced. The docs also show a loading prop for plain children, and a static Skeleton when a chart or canvas will not measure well.
