# Shopify's Sidekick can now act inside connected apps like Klaviyo

Merchants can ask Sidekick to take actions in apps such as Klaviyo and Checkout Links directly from the chat.

Shopify's Sidekick assistant can now reach into a store's connected apps instead of only Shopify's own data. The announcement names **Klaviyo** and **Checkout Links** as examples: a merchant can ask Sidekick a question or have it take an action in those apps directly from the chat.
