# See activity from your apps in Shopify Analytics

Merchants can report on marketing emails sent, loyalty rewards redeemed and more, in Analytics or ShopifyQL, for apps that support app events.

Shopify Analytics can now show events from supported apps. Marketing emails sent, loyalty rewards redeemed and other app activity appear in the same reports used for store data.

## What app events cover

With app events, merchants can:

- Track app activity over time.

- Compare the same metric across apps, such as emails sent by each marketing app.

- Filter and group results using details each app provides, such as campaign or message type.

## How to use them

In [Shopify](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/shopify>), open a report and choose metrics and dimensions from the App Events category in the configuration panel. App events can also be queried with ShopifyQL.

## Availability

The data available depends on which installed apps support app events and what they send to Shopify. The change was listed in the [Shopify changelog](<https://changelog.shopify.com/posts/see-activity-from-your-apps-in-shopify-analytics>) on October 28, 2026.
