# Get AI tested storefront suggestions from Sidekick

Sidekick builds a draft theme change and compares it with the live storefront using simulated shoppers, not real traffic or live A/B tests.

Sidekick can now suggest storefront improvements and test them before a merchant applies anything. Per [Shopify's changelog](<https://changelog.shopify.com/posts/get-ai-tested-storefront-recommendations-from-sidekick>), [Shopify](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/shopify>)'s assistant identifies an improvement, builds a draft version of the change, and compares it with the current storefront using AI-simulated shoppers.

## What gets simulated

Sidekick only picks changes for simulation when two conditions hold: the change can be tested as a storefront theme change, and it is expected to affect add-to-cart behavior.

## What the testing is not

The recommendations are not tested on real shoppers and are not live A/B tests. The comparison uses AI-simulated shoppers only.

## Review before applying

Sidekick builds the draft, and the merchant reviews the suggested change before deciding whether to apply it. Shopify points to its Help Center for more detail.
