# Runway packages product-ad and swap tools as single API calls

The first two "Recipes" endpoints turn a single image into product ads or swap a product into an existing video.

Runway is adding **Recipes** to its API: prebuilt, production-ready endpoints that package Runway's own prompting and workflow work into a single call. The first two cover creating product ads from a single image and swapping a product within an existing video, with more planned.

Instead of building a generation workflow from scratch on the base [Runway](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/runway>) API, developers can call one of these endpoints directly to run the feature at scale inside their own platform. [Runway announced the update](<https://x.com/i/status/2067335278943990212>) on 21 June 2026.
