# Runway Agent can open files, run code, and build a launch kit

On October 30, 2026, [Runway](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/runway>) said Agent now does more than generate. It can open files and run code, build a brand launch kit, and create product shots, ad variations, and motion graphics from a reference. The post says Agent gets done whatever you need, and it ends the list with "and more," so it does not name every task.

## What the official video shows

The video runs 64 seconds. Title cards say Agent does more than generate, Agent now finishes the job, and Agent can write code, run it, open files, and browse the web and act. A prompt in the demo reads "pull the brand from sone.com and build me a launch kit," then a card says "Agent goes and gets what it needs." It opens on a sample loudspeaker page.

The same video shows a short code snippet that places a logo at the bottom right of an ad, with the margin set to 0.0, beside the line "When it has to be exact, Agent writes code." Later cards read "Then it gets to work," "Your font, set exactly," "Every asset. Every size," and "Motion graphics from a reference." It closes on "Whatever you need, Agent gets it done" and "One URL in. Everything out." The sample page and its add-to-cart price are part of that demo. The post does not present them as a Runway product or a Runway price.

## Plans and where this is listed

Checked on October 30, the Runway changelog's newest entry is still the October 27 note for Runway Ads. This Agent update is not on that page. The Agent product page does not describe opening files, running code, or a launch kit. Its cost answer says Agent is available across Runway's plans and points to the pricing page, and that sentence is not tied to today's post. The announcement does not name a plan, a price, or a rollout.
