By Steven Van · 2026-07-06

Broadcasters sending streams to X through Restream can now moderate who joins the comments.

When streaming to X through [Restream](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/restream>), broadcasters can now control who is allowed to comment on the live stream.

Restream [announced](<https://x.com/i/status/2074183411879612603>) the option on 2026-07-06, adding moderation over who joins the conversation during an X live stream sent through the platform.
