# Retrieve prompt text for compliance workflows

Enterprise admins can now pull full prompt text for message-sent audit events via a new compliance:messages:read API scope.

[Replit](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/replit>) now lets enterprise account admins retrieve the full prompt text behind project.message\_sent audit events through its Compliance API. Admins create an API key with the **compliance:messages:read** scope and call GET /v1/compliance/messages to pull the text for security investigations, compliance monitoring, data loss prevention, SIEM, retention, and eDiscovery workflows.

Because prompt text can contain secrets and personal data, Replit says the scope should be granted only to authorized systems and administrators.
