# Replit Acquires Atta and Adds Interactive Charts to Chat

Replit's new owner, data-analysis startup Atta, powers interactive chat charts built from uploaded or connected data, no SQL required.

Replit has acquired [Atta](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/replit>), the business analysis and charting startup founded by Omar Shaik and Amine Ben Khalifa, and shipped its first feature into the product: interactive charts inside Replit chat.

Upload a dataset or connect a data source, then ask Replit Agent a question or say "let's visualize this." Replit runs the underlying queries and analysis, picks a chart type suited to the data, and renders it with Atta's charting system, without the user writing SQL. Charts are interactive and adapt labels, spacing and layout as they're resized, and Replit says the goal is visualizations that are ready to share in reviews across teams.
