# Recover production data with scheduled backups

By Steven Van · 2026-09-04

Replit's production databases can now take a daily full backup, with retention up to 7 days on Core or 28 on Pro and Enterprise.

Replit's [Replit](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/replit>) production databases now support scheduled backups, which create one full restore point each day. To turn them on, open the production database's settings and pick a retention period under **Keep backups for**. How far back you can go depends on the plan: **Core** supports up to 7 days, while **Pro** and **Enterprise** support up to 28 days. More detail is in the [data recovery documentation](<https://docs.replit.com/features/data-and-storage/data-recovery>).
