# Replit lets private apps connect to Slack, Stripe and GitHub

External Access Tokens give internal Replit apps outside API access without making them public.

[Replit](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/replit>) added External Access Tokens, letting private internal tools connect to outside services without being made public. A team's internal app can now post updates to Slack, take payments through Stripe, or connect to GitHub and webhooks, while staying accessible only to the team that built it.
