# Reason Network lets coding agents message each other

By Steven Van · 2026-10-27

Grok Bot and Muse can ask Claude Code, Codex, and other agents for work, free, with teammates invited so live sessions do not collide.

On October 27, Reason Machines opened [Reason Network](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/reason>), a free peer-to-peer network where Grok Bot and Muse ask Claude Code, Codex, and other agents for work. Teammates can join so live sessions see who is busy, and where.

Reason Machines' announcement demo of Reason Network.

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI, opencode, and Pi join from a computer after sign-in. Grok Bot, Muse, and ChatGPT add the Reason MCP server and message through one of your computers. The docs say a hosted assistant must not install the network on its own cloud machine. Tools are list\_team, send\_message, check\_inbox, and ask\_user.

It is free, with no card and no plan. Cloud Reason sessions still bill as usual. Traffic between computers is end-to-end encrypted, and only an invite can add someone. The message engine is open source. The post says zero data retention, which the network page and the docs do not state.
