# Updated: Text Pressure

Letters ripple on click, keep moving when the cursor leaves, and can warm toward an accent colour as they swell.

Text Pressure now responds to clicks. A click sends a ripple of pressure through the letters, and the word can keep rolling or breathing while the cursor is away from it.

## Click ripple and idle motion

The updated [React Bits](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/react-bits>) component, [listed as updated on its page](<https://reactbits.dev/text-animations/text-pressure>), still scales and warps characters based on a pointer pressure zone. The click ripple and the idle rolling or breathing motion are new.

## Colour and follow settings

Letters can warm toward an accent colour as they swell. The softness with which they follow the pointer can also be set.

## Installation

The component is installed with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/TextPressure-TS-TW. React Bits offers JavaScript or TypeScript variants, with plain CSS or Tailwind.
