# Updated: Text Loop

The React Bits text marquee gains a crossing second band, drag and fling control, scroll-driven speed and reversal, and outlined letters.

Text Loop, the [React Bits](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/react-bits>) text animation that flows a marquee along curved SVG paths, has been [updated](<https://reactbits.dev/text-animations/text-loop>) with a second band, drag and fling interaction, and scroll-driven speed.

## What changed

- A second band can be added that crosses the first in an X, with a soft shadow.

- The loop can be dragged or flung.

- Page scrolling can speed the loop up or reverse it.

- Letters can now be drawn as outlines.

## Installing it

The component is available through the shadcn CLI, for example npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/TextLoop-TS-TW. The page offers JavaScript or TypeScript variants, with plain CSS or Tailwind.
