# Updated: Pixel Card

The animated card now offers hover, click or always-on modes, with JavaScript or TypeScript and CSS or Tailwind versions available.

The [React Bits](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/react-bits>) Pixel Card component has been [rebuilt](<https://reactbits.dev/components/pixel-card>) with crisp pixels and a glowing reveal wave. The wave can start from the cursor instead of only the centre of the card.

## Triggers and edge fade

The card can run on hover, on click, or stay always on. An edge fade keeps the card's content readable while the pixels animate.

## Install options

The component is available in JavaScript or TypeScript, with plain CSS or Tailwind. The shadcn install command for the TypeScript and Tailwind version is npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/PixelCard-TS-TW.
