# Updated: Particle Text

By Steven Van · 2026-10-13

Particle Text gains rain, swirl and line-print entrances, square and stroke particles, and a click that scatters the text and lets it spring back.

Particle Text in [React Bits](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/react-bits>) has [been updated](<https://reactbits.dev/text-animations/particle-text>) with new ways to bring text onto the screen. It can rain in, swirl into place or print behind a sweeping line.

## Entrances and particle shapes

The three entrance styles join the existing effect, in which text assembles from drifting particles. Particles can now be drawn as squares or short strokes.

## Click interaction

Clicking blows the particles apart, and they spring back into place to reform the text.

## Installation

The component installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/ParticleText-TS-TW. The page offers JavaScript or TypeScript variants, with plain CSS or Tailwind.
