# Updated: Liquid Ether

The React Bits background now runs several times faster and adds presets and a light mode, with a sweeping intro and click puffs.

The [React Bits](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/react-bits>) Liquid Ether background has been [rebuilt](<https://reactbits.dev/backgrounds/liquid-ether>). The glowing liquid that swirls under the cursor now has smoother swirls with a glowing look, and it runs several times faster than before.

## What changed

- Smoother, glowing swirls.

- A sweeping intro when the component loads.

- Puffs on click.

- Presets and a light mode.

## Installation

The component is installed through the shadcn CLI. The JavaScript or TypeScript version, with plain CSS or Tailwind, is available. The TypeScript and Tailwind version installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/LiquidEther-TS-TW.
