# Updated: Line Waves

Line Waves gains presets, a cursor spotlight, click ripples and a light mode, and installs in JavaScript or TypeScript with CSS or Tailwind.

React Bits has rebuilt its [Line Waves](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/react-bits>) background with crisp, smoothly flowing lines and a soft band of light that drifts through them, as listed in its [Line Waves update](<https://reactbits.dev/backgrounds/line-waves>).

## Installing it

The component can be added in JavaScript or TypeScript, with plain CSS or Tailwind. The TypeScript and Tailwind version installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/LineWaves-TS-TW. The page's interactive preview, customization controls and source tabs need JavaScript enabled.
