# Updated: Echo Text

Echo Text can now burst on click, drift on its own or follow page scrolling, and its echoes can fade between two colours.

Echo Text, the [React Bits](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/react-bits>) text animation, has been [updated](<https://reactbits.dev/text-animations/echo-text>) with three ways to trigger its echoes. Ghosted copies trail behind the text and settle into a single word.

## Ways to trigger the echoes

- Click the text to send out a burst of echoes.

- Let the echoes drift on their own.

- Have the echoes trail behind page scrolling.

## Colour

Echoes can also fade between two colours.

## Installation

The component is available in JavaScript or TypeScript, with plain CSS or Tailwind. The TypeScript and Tailwind version installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/EchoText-TS-TW.
