# Updated: Depth Text

Depth Text's extruded type can now fade into the page, press in on hover and spring back, and float gently while idle.

Depth Text in [React Bits](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/resources/react-bits>) has [been updated](<https://reactbits.dev/text-animations/depth-text>) with three changes to how the extruded type behaves.

- The extrusion can now fade into the page.

- The word presses in on hover and springs back.

- The text can float gently while idle.

The component renders layered extruded type with parallax that shifts against the pointer. It installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/DepthText-TS-TW, with JavaScript or TypeScript and plain CSS or Tailwind variants available.
